> mms/gprs doesnt work! help!PH)

i had my p910 for 2 weeks now i had the mms/gprs configured but when i access the globe wapsite error occurs and same with the mms. the globe personnel i had the phone configured with said that i might need upgrade of its firmware so i did. but the gprs and mms still doesnt work. anybody have this problem? is this fixable?please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can access Sony Ericssons Support from PC and get WAP/MMS settings sent to phone...

did you set the gprs/mms accounts up by yourself? If so, maby it would be better tonget them sent or let it be set up from someone at your service center...

Sony Ericsson P910i WAP Settings
Best to use WAP Over GPRS...
WAP Over CSD
1. Go to Menu Control panel Connections tab Internet accounts New. Enter details for the following parameters:
Account name: myGlobe CSD
Connection type: Dial-up
User name: globe
Password: globe
Phone number: +639172399
Tap Advance from the bottom.
Tap the Speed tab, check the following parameters:
Connections type: ISDN
2. Go to Menu Control panel Connections tab WAP accounts New. Enter details for the following parameters:
Account name: myGlobe CSD
Internet account: myGlobeCSD
Use Proxy: (Ticked)
Address: 192.9.163.34
Port: 9201
3. Use the WAP address
http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp for opening Globe Homepage.
WAP Over GPRS
1. Go to Menu Control panel Connections tab Internet accounts New. Enter details for the following parameters:
Account name: myGlobe GPRS
Connection type: GPRS
Tap Advance button. Key-in
www.globe.com.ph for the address.
2. Go to Menu Control panel Connections tab WAP accounts New. Enter details for the following parameters:
Account name: myGlobe GPRS
Internet account: myGlobe GPRS
Use Proxy: (Ticked)
Address: 203.177.42.214
Port: 9201
3. Use the WAP address
http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp for opening Globe Homepage.
MMS Settings
1. Go to Menu Control panel Connections tab Internet accounts New. Enter details for the following parameters:
Account name: myGlobe MMS
Connection type: GPRS
Tap Advance from the bottom. Key-in mms.globe.com.ph for the address.
2. Go to Menu Control panel Connections tab WAP account New. Enter details for the following parameters:
Account name: myGlobe MMS
Internet account: myGlobe MMS
Use Proxy: (Checked)
Network Integration and Change Control
Address: 192.40.100.20
Port: 9201
3. Go to Menu Control panel Connections tab Messaging accounts MMS tab. Enter details for the following
parameters:
Service centre address:
http://192.40.100.22:10021/mmsc
WAP account: myGlobe MMS
Automatic: On
Download size: <User dependent>
Internet Settings via built-in brower
1. Go to Menu Control panel Connections tab Internet accounts New. Enter details for the following parameters:
Account name: myGlobe Internet
Connection type: GPRS
Tap Advance from the bottom. Key-in internet.globe.com.ph for the address.
I know it's a pain but plod on

- double check etc... and post back with your results...
...good or bad

(connected or not)

Has your network definitely enabled the data service on your account?

have you tried using your sim with another phone just to see if your sim has already activated gprs in your network..
