I converted my k750i to W800 by using Davinci flashes.Is there any way to revert back to orange flashes thru SEUS. When I tried to update thru SEUS phone was not permitted to use a service which I believe is CDA string problem.

to change CDA will require finalization. 1 credit. Can you remember the firmware and CDA string you used? SEUS would normally flash 800 back to 750 - so you might be right about the CDA.

I flashed to R1N035 emea2 and manualy changed CDA string to 102338/12 which is Orange UK but for k750i. When I checked configuration in phone menu CDA string was not there?

I'm on wap so not much help to you! But CDA string should be generic. I think /9 or /10. Search - w800 - and the CDA string you used, there's a list here somewhere.

should help

750 cda-strings page 2 for your Orange CDA

but go for a Generic version instead

So if a proper CDA string is inserted and phone reflashed to k750i I will be able to revert to Orange F/W. I'll give it a try. Many thanks!

"Your device is not permitted to use this service" is a message from SEUS even after flashing to k750i.Any ideas how to fool SEUS to return to original Orange UK F/W?

these are the only CDA-Strings for Orange:

CDA102338/11 - K750i Orange France (R14A)
CDA102338/12 - K750i Orange UK (R26A ORANGE_GEN)
CDA102338/24 - K750i Orange Netherlands
CDA102338/25 - K750i Orange Slovak
CDA102338/26 - K750i Orange Switzerland (R11A ORANGE_CH)

I'm not sure if all contain EN language support after flashing with SEUS (that's if Orange allows SEUS to flash it's customers phones or in this case the K750)

Each change of CDA will cost and that's a bit expensive for trial and error.

SEUS I think is the only place to get Branded Firmware (Icons and the Like).

The only thing I can think of is to try differrent region SEUS...

at least it's free (if it works)

I flashed with EMEA2 but original Orange was EU3 with different language pack to unbranded EU3. Maybe that was the problem EMEA2 with Orange CDA, perhaps it has to be EU3 with Orange CDA. Someone else must have had the same problem so I wonder what they did?
