Hi everyone,

I need some way to hook up my T68i with the PC for data connectivity. Out of the USB Cable, Bluetooth, and Infrared, can anyone tell me which is the cheapest option available in Singapore? I have a hunch cable might be the cheapest option, but does anyone have any idea on where I can source for it? Don't necessarily need original Sony Ericsson accessories. I just need something cheap, because I don't think I will use the data connectivity tools very often. Should I try Sim Lim? Goldhill? Funan? Please advise. Many thanks in advance.

no data cable it can't do every thing, if you want cheap and good you'll buy an infrared adapter, if you want full futerproof, easy and handy, excellent you'll get a bluetooth usb adapter.

Don't ever try Sim Lim for its phone items except for its phones and PCs items. I went there a few days ago to ask for the wires and they say it cost $86.the other cheap wires only provides charging and not data transfer.

Hmm... then what can the data cable do? I mean, how different is it from Bluetooth or Infrared in terms of what it can do or cannot do? Please enlighten me. Thanks and regards.

The data cable is meant to transfer pics, allow your phone to surf the web using your PC's connection and allows charging of phone.

The Bluetooth and IRAD is meant to only do transfering of data.

I see. So if I only need to transfer pics, themes, ringtones to my phone from the PC, the data cable would do OK right? I will not use the organiser and all those synchronisation functions. I just need something cheap and simple really. Sorry to trouble everyone to read this, but this is a really cool and friendly forum : )

Go for the data cable. If you want it cheap, you can even make one yourself. Search esato for links on how to do it. This post was posted from a T68i
