Any chance of the P990 supporting class 1 bluetooth 2.0 devices? I'm sure many could benefit from 100m distances.

Oooh ...now that sounds fun. Currently my bluetooth has a 10 meter range, which gets me 3/4 phones on average. If they extend the range to 100:

πrē = 3.14*10*10 = 314 meter area

πrē = 3.14*100*100 = 314,000 meter area

314,000/314 = 100, so the number of phones I should pick up is actually 3/400

Well, that's the estimate anyhow. I doubt there's actaully that many bluetooth phones in the school ...

You've only forgot the chance that you might be the only one with bt 2, in that area, so that number would be the same as bt 1

Most likely less, because there are hardly any BT2 phones out now.

Plus, if you're in a busy bar (say). 10m would likely stretch to the walls of the bar, but the 100m range would stretch to adjoining buildings, which are unlikely to be as busy as your bar!
