Ok here is the deal: When I receive my new w800 I tried a lot of themes and games to test which ones I will stick to. I also test if I could erase all the junk the company throws in (ringtones, themes) and in fact, I could. After that, I upgraded (R1NO35) and did a Master Reset, just to erase all the possible "junky files" the apps and games could leave behind (P800 paranoia). Anyways, to my surprise, all the game dissapeared (Not a big loss, cause I could find QuadraPop and PictureSlider...only one I lost forever was the World Time app), but only a few files remain: A few tones and a couple of themes (the branded ones). Previous to the upgrading and master reseting I could erase ALL the files. Now, I can't erase the Movistar logos, themes and stuff. Does anyone knows a way to erase this annoying files. I mean, If I did it before, Im possitive this could be done somehow. I remember a trick back on my T300 era...something related to plug and unplug the charger and battery to free all the memory space. I hope there is some more civilized way nowadays.

Peace

back in the old days, it was the 11 second trick if i remeber right, where you pull the battery 11 secs into a full master reset, to remove the tones etc, cant you just delete the files in myPhoneexplorer? i've never bothered, as theres prety much no way to get the back, and im not really gonna miss a few kB...

You can use mobyexplorer to remove the read only and delete the files of the phone or you can use far and go into the /tpa/user folder and delete the things there.
