im getting one from hong kong. says id have to pay and import tax if theres any. is it likely there will be and how much is it?

you guys positive. one site on google says i wont have to pay it as its import free or something (forgot what it said). its a well cheap deal but this import tax may bog me down

I had to pay £50, even if they mark it as a gift there is a limit on how expensive it can be its something like 35-40 quid i think, so unless he lies about the value you will probably have to fork out
