According to the previous posts on the subject a new software, where that feature is added, will be out later this year. So, the only way to change the message alert is to wait... This post was posted from a T68i

I wonder what was wrong with the tone on the earlier Ericsson and the T68m

That tone was perfect in frequency and loudness .. the T68I tone makes noone happy ..

Yep the tone of incoming SMS of T68 is not comparable to other company mobile
But the new version is coming soon and then you can upgraded them at

centre near your home for free!!!
