hi, basically i have a phone number and i want to know if theres any way to find out the persons name... this may sound dodgy but believe me it aint, i have recently bought something and not recieved the goods... basically if i can work out this persons name i can retreve theyre address etc...

If it helps i know the number is and orange one

sadly ebay.... gutting really... but i dont wanna give out specifics about the problem (sorry to sound funny, but the less said the better).. just wondered if there was a way of finding out their name.. or the name registered to the phone....

Are they selling anything else on ebay? If so you could try and win the item (under a new username) and tell them your sending a cheque and get the address (unless they only accept paypal).

lol, wil do if its my last resort but id sooner find out myself and deal with it myself... the law always complicates matters... i had a simular problem acouple of years back and managed to find out their name which then in turn made it very easy to find out theyre address... people tend to give in when you have info on them

vanq.. sadley the police aint as envolved in fighting really problems they prefer following boy racers and doing spot checks these days..... if only they were like the bill - we'd have some fit coppers too

True with just a name (and ruff knowledge of the area there from) you can usally get there address pretty easy.

Regarding GPRS tracking i very much doubt the police would bother with that, usally only use that kind of stuff for high profile case's. (or tracking there wifes movements )
