Hi

I noticed my phone is getting some wear from just leaving it in the table... exactly in the camera ring, the bottom part, where it touches the table.

Anyone else?

I think it happens to everyone, its only a very lightly coated piece of plastic similar to the the camera button, a bit disappointing really

I remember it used to happen to my K700.
Putting the phone in a pouch is the only way of preventing this from happening.

Had the same problem with my S700i, that silver camera ring part seems to scratch very easily!

All I can suggest is to be very careful when putting it down, and not to 'drag' the phone across a table when picking it up, just pick it straight up and put it straight down.

I always make sure to lay my W800 on something soft. I have a silicon skin, but doesn't do much because the ring is also exposed. But when I have the skin on, I just lay it face down to avoid scratching the back.

Yeah... sooner or later the 'silver' stuff will wear out; and I never dragged it over the table neither through the phone into it; but is shows some little "points" (circular) where it's marked...

For me is pretty much the same as not having the phone... I really suffer with stuff like that. Am I sick? Is it OK to wear off?

I even avoid using the phone just to not leave fingerprints, touching it, etc etc...
