So it only fell into a bucket of water for a couple of secs. K750 now seems to be totally knackered. Anybody got any pointers on I go about takin it apart.Took the screws pf of near the battery compartment but its removing the covers thats got me scratchin me head. Soz if this topics been covered b4, but i`m to stressed out to do a search.

Take batt off and leave in airring cupboard or other dry warm place for a while. Usally the covers are clip in place try prying them open!

If the phone is still wet, do not try to switch it on.. open it up and try drying the components with a hair drier... The famous hair drier trick!

I hope it works out for you.
Once I spilled a glass of milk onto m laptop....
I took it apart and dried everything and after a week when i was sure everything was dry, I put everything back together and it worked.
So make sure it is dried properly inside out before you attempt to turn it on.

And make sure you leave that battery out until you're sure it's dry, the current from the battery speeds up the corrosion of the electronic parts, chips, etc.!

Well cheers for the replies, decided to take to phone to pieces (only reason I didn`t want any tell tales signs inside that it had water damage) anyway followed the pics on removin housin etc and was just reading the part where it tells you to becareful not to damage the lcd, the knive slipped and missed the screen by a quarter of its life. Phew I thought, dried it all out nice an bonny and started to re-assemble it and noticed the top wasn`t sittin quite right so I had to remove the front cover "again" jet again the knive slipped and now i`ve got a nice scratch all along the lcd, GUTTED. Any the major downer is I don`t think the shop would wanna even know now seeing as i`ve taken the phone apart, so i`ve been thinkin of a cunnin plan but can`t think of diddley yet. Oh BTW the phone has a dicky fit everyso often white screen an all that, plus the joystick don`t wanna know the up command. Bought t`other half a W800 and i`m temped to keep it for myself. WA HA WA HA HA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
