ok so i just bought a faulty D750i off of ebay for £90 all the functions work except the camera. here is the description

"Hello and welcome to our auction. You are bidding for a Sony Ericsson D750i Colour Camera Mobile Phone.

The mobile phone has all the usual features like, colour screen, poly tones, camera, video, messaging, games, calendar, etc.

It is in fairly good condition, with with only small marks or scratches on the front and back fascia.

The phone has been unlocked, so it will accept any sim card from any network (except 3).

Although all the features and fuctions seem to work fine, there is however a small fault with the phone. The camera lens cover is broken so the camera will not start up when selected, the phone keeps saying 'open lens cover'

Im sure this problem can be fixed or the phone can be used for spares or repairs, by someone with the right know how."

anyway i was wondering if anyone had a guide on how to remove the housing for the d750/k750/w800 as it would be a great help, thanks

@ vanquish:

hey man.. my w800i's joystick is not properly align.. so i can't scroll up properly.. my question is, is it possible for me to fix the joystick by removing only the front and back cover? my hands are itching on opening my phone and fix the joystick.. i think maybe it is not prperly inserted.. you think its safe? i mean i am only going to remove the front and back covers, so i dont have to touch those sensitive parts and cables..
