I have read this in a post from ClubSE (www.clubsonyericsson.com)

It says that there is a new SEUS program to flash our SE.. it's in various languages, and works fine with K750i
It does not need the web browser any more. It installs in your Pc and only needs Macromedia flash player...

EDIT: Actually tried it and other phones are in the application (W800, W900,....), so'll work for them I think.

I was able to update my phone, using the app...Had no problems at all!! Worked great!
I do have one question...it asks you to remove the sim card..has anyone updated (using the app) and didn't remove their sim card?

I'm just so used to that work around. I need to test out the transfer with the cable now.
I know i noticed somewhere someone posted a "fix" for the transfer errors.....i'll try to find that post again.

Well, that's a fixaround from long ago for R1N035 that... didn't work at all!
Rule:
If it has the bug = You can't do nothing (specially 'tuning' Windows) to make it work via USB cable.
And I know cause I swapped my phone just for this bug...

the MS bug ive experienced b4 was that of transfering files (by batch or single file) above 10mb is corrupting the system. Ive noticed after update, people may not notice the change of Firmware coz it hasnt touch the files that was there before the update.. meaning it hasnt been deleted. like when i tried updating to R1N before.
and on the phone's pop-ups, while sending SMS, deleting files or doing any process on the phone, recognize that pop up with the progress bar? at first it wont work, you hafta delete all themes and try copying them all agen. that way you will see the progress bars on pop-ups once agen.
fon background: R1N035 (flashed fr DavinciTeam: EU2 from CH, using CDA America_2)
updates using SEUS2 (works like a charm: i guess without reading CDA, it read EU2, still funstastic) was updated to R1AA008.
all i have to say is this, the fon by far has a good technology, that for whatever happens to it, there will be a workaround to help you clinging to yer phone, all you hafta do is be logical, research research research. AND ALWAYS TRUST SE CONTENTS! WHATEVER HAPPENS, its them who created your SE phones in the first place. who knows better?
well if problems arise, you got DVT.. (in my case that is...)
