Hello.

Almost all my CDs are mixed and therefore don't have any gaps between tracks.

I cannot seem to get Disc2phone to put them on my W900 like this.

I appreciate that it probably won't do it but I would like to know if there are any other workarounds.

I am very keen to keep the track indexes so making one big MP3 isn't really an option.

I have Soundforge.

Thanks a lot.

u can use mp3 cutter to separate songs manually but you will hear a pop between songs

Sorry, I didn't make myself very clear.

I don't want any gaps at all. I want d2p to rip the CD to the phone as one continuous track whilst retaining the indexes.

D2p puts gaps between the tracks that shouldn't be there.

Windows Media player has no problem with this.

Try iTunes.

If it can read your 'mixed' CD, you can try if it will import the whole thing as one 'song'.

You can use ”CDex” to rip your CD to mp3. In this program you can “Extract Partial Track”. It rips several tracks into one mp3-file…
You can downloade CDex for free at

Yes, but he doesn't want to have one big track! There are plenty of joiners to do that.

But, you won't be able to have gapless tracks in the phone; it will 'click' and change to the next one; won't fade out or something like that, so your only option would have to be joining all in one track. Sorry.
