I just bought this out of a shop in town for £5, it look like the packaging is all real but the logo's on the headphones look like there printed on, also the microphone part says "Scny Ericsscn". But i thought this maybe because its a chinese import one as on the back of the packaging it says "For use with S600C, 2520C, K750c"?

Any ideas?

Thanks

They look ok but if the writing doesnt say Sony Ericsson then I suspect they are fake.

Looks dodgy to me. I live in China, and this kind of product (spelling errors etc) is ten-a-penny. Genuine Sony products sold here do not have spelling errors on them.

Comparing that with the one that came with my k750i, it looks similar, but not authentic.

Mine clearly says sony ericsson. And the SE emblem should be identical to the one on phones.

So it should have a printed silver part of the logo, but the green part should be real 3D part.

Most probably is..........here in india we get these fake nokia/se/samsung headsets everywhere..........come packaged in original packs but cost one tenth the price of an original.........a good look is al it takes to tell them apart, tell tale signs are lousy printing, poor quality plastic, spelling mistakes.

Of course they dont sound anything like the real thing.....way back when i used a k500 i had the misfortune of buying one.......it died from an accidental mild tug on the earphone cable.

I have seen many fake headsets, one thing I quickly noticed on those fakes was that the name SonyEricsson etched on the mic is not as neat as the authentic one, you can recognize that very easily.(your photos are bit out of focus, but if there are spelling mistakes then definitely a fake) I also see one or two other differences when comparing my bundled ones with your photos. Besides, if the quality of the headset is no way near the original then that sums up everything right ? It is a fake.
