what bit rate is the best to set disc2phone on transfering mp3 to my w880i at the moment i use 96 would i here any difference from 96 to 64 or even less

64 is way too low. 128 is ok for mp3, and 96 for aac. you don't need trained ear to hear the difference, it is very noticeable.

96 is about radio quality-ish anything lower is really bad
