> Im thinking of moving to Canada?

Hi all, i live in Dubai, yeah Dubai, but I have plenty of mates there in Canada.
What is it like there from your point of view. I have done research and heard what people want me to hear but now i want to see what you all have to say.
This might be a stupid topic, if so be free to remove it.
Things like accommodatino, jobs, and any thing else i might need to know...

Canada is a nice place to move,i've visited a few times as i have extended family in Toronto,Vancouver and Ontario.I've actually thought of moving there myself one day maybe in a few years or even sooner..Im not fully aware of employment or accommodation rules and regulations for that i would advise you to speak to a canadian immigration lawyer or your friends who live in canada.

i spoke to the miggration people but i dont trust them, they make commision from sending people over i think...
all my mates that are there enjoy it and like it but then again they were all born there and lived there most there lives so i kinda feel that they have biased opinions...
just like i would be if someone asked me about the Sweet Sweet Land of South Africa...

we recently moved here to canada(4 months), and so far everything is doing good, weather is great here in vancouver, life pacing is a little laid back, except that you'll have to adjust to their ways,not to be too picky with regards to your job... just be sure you are ready for ANYTHING. goodluck.
