I have been able to set up my Yahoo mail account on my T68 (I have an M1 account), I can download and read all my emails but I am not able to send any email, I always get the error message 'Send Failed'. I have configured both pop and smtp with the respective IP address, I am connecting through MobileNet, not M1 World, but still not able to send emails. Anyone knows why or has any way around this? Thanks!

Try changing the smtp server name from smtp.mail.yahoo.com (or its IP address) to that of your ISP.

Thanks for the suggestion but I have no ISP ... at home I am connecting with SCV that as you know does not have any email facility. However I am perfectly able to send and receive using Outlook Express and the pop and smtp settings of Yahoo! Mail but from my T68 I can only receive ...

By the way I have just upgraded today to R2A ... didn't notice any change with the functionalities of the phone, looks identical.

What do you use to browse your mail in T68, wap, gprs? What number did you set to connect to the mail server? I am using a dial up connection and just dial the ISP number. I have not tried and do not know that T68 mail client can be used with wap.

I am using GPRS of course. And I can connect and download my Yahoo Mail on my T68 no problem. But I cannot send. I wonder whether M1+ does not support SMTP ...
