Thats a good one..."snort while you talk"
Don't think virgin made the right choice by making her brand ambassador after what she did.

Well its her private affair, but you have to realise is that she is public property being in the media spotlight, and its not the kind of message you want to send out to young kids who are very impressionable...kids will end up thinking She can take coke and be famous let me try some aswell.

how many artists, musicans etc took, take and will take it and even died cos of it? are their fans all coke etc fans aswell? ( u mentioned for example elvis in the moto thread ) guess its a minority who follows them, so its really not a big deal what she did. besides the majority of the models are doing the same, so its nothing new under the sun... she was just a kind of "wrong example", who knows who and why made the media such a huge circus with her... and just take a closer look in the newspapers, every day is a new coke etc fan reported from the celebrity circles...

Yes boba you do actually have a point and your right...coke has now become so widespread now that its almost normal and acceptable to take it if your within that kind of circle....but having said that i know lots of people some of them my own friends who have suffered the consequences of taking the stuff...people seem to forget that it is a highly dangerous class A drug that has the potential to cause serious harm...People in the media have a responsibility not to associate themselves with any of this stuff..Kate moss should'nt have been allowed back in the spotlight so fast, maybe a jail sentence would have sorted her out.

Its a difficult one, we've all made mistakes, and i can pretty much garuntee that a lot of the journalists who made the hullabaloo are the kind that schmooze around parties with a £5 note hanging out their noses.
I'm also sure that Virgin thought about the extra publicity they would get through this..."any news is good news"

If taking coke is something to be proud of, we will not see her trying to deny it when the news first broke out....same happen to all those public figure who is taking coke.....ever see any pop star who have been rumoured of taking coke admitted it...normally we see rock star or weird public figure admit...but not those who have influence on kids.
What I am looking forward is...she kept her promise...stay away from Coke...and be an example to tell all the young kid stop doing it.
