> pc connection software problem

hi guys, i have a sony ericsson v800 but when i conenct it to my pc it takes awhile before my pc detects it. Sometimes the software wont even detect my phone. I'm using a usb cradle btw. Is there any other software I need to download? I have the filemanager already installed to my pc and the phone monitor
