Add to that the fact that the P990 will need new versions of your existing software. Your P910 software will not work with the new OS.

Ouch, sorry to hear that fella, I take it you don't have insurance? Did you back up your phone on a pc?

I think if i had no insurance but did have a back up I'd get another p910 and some insurance. Such an intricate device that's pretty much in constant use is bound to get lost/stolen/damaged at some point, no matter how careful you are.
I pay Orange £5 per month and get a next-day replacement for £15 whenever something goes wrong. On my 3rd p910i so far.

It might be worth contacting your US network providers to see if any of them sell reconditioned p910 handsets. Orange have just started doing this for £150. You don't get all the accessories but then, you wouldn't need them. Probably a long shot, but worth a try?

so is that the only problem with that? if you get another one, will you sell the one you have right now? i have a p900 that does the same but i use it as a pda/mp3 player. what sux about it though is that it doesnt take more than 128mb because it can only read the duo(not pro)

@Rblover69: have you tried using the earphones when making a call? if it works, then the speaker probably shifted during the fall.
Why not try to get it fixed.
If it were the "i" version, I would've bought it off you.

Sorry to hear that. I would get another P910 until the P990 is out.
