Does anybody have ANY idea where ******* the S/E update service is? None of the links seem to work
Why must it be such a difficult task?

don't seem to be going out of their way to advertise this yet, although they are removing the old SEUS links. I only found this by using the search on the
www.sonyericsson.com site having been informed by other members here of its availablity for K750 and W800

I spoke to SE here in NZ and they told me it would be available next week again.
I tried the download of the service and after choosing my launguage the flash clip with the green moving progress bar just keeps replaying.
I removed shockwave player, upgraded flash player and it still did the same thing.
So I guess i must wait until next week or so when they will have the official service running here n New Zealand.

Same here. I'm so sick and tired of Sony Ericsson's crappy software. Why cant they ever release software that just works?? I have the very latest 2.2.11b? I just keep getting the error message "No deskstand connected!" It IS CONNECTED!! With the phone switched on, PC Suite's phone monitor is sensing the phone is connected without a problem so why does the Update Service software think the deskstand isn't connected? I'm really just so fed up with Sony Ericsson. Great phones. Shit software. Sort yourselves out for Gods sake. There, I feel better now. So has anyone got this new softwareto actually work? Is there a magic incantation you have to utter something?

Try unchecking the USB connection in Phone monitor, it worked like a charm for me after that.

You are right SE^s software is produced by a bunch of hacks and amateures. They really need to step up their game. Once you got it working, don't mess with it, the risk is just too great that it will bomb out.
