I have very poor reception where I live.
So I have on the roof of my house a mag mount aerial connector
to a sony ericsson aerial cable . this sits in the back of the hch-37 cradle. When I click my phone into the cradle I need to wiggle the aerial connector until I get good reception and then use tape to hold the aerial in place. any movement of the cradle can loose reception. A hopeless solution as I can have 4 green bars holding the aerial in place with my thumb, or 2 redbars if I then let go with my thumb.

I just rang SE here in NZ to ask them about the HCH-37 and the problems Im having with it.
Their response was, if I was using it in a car in its natural environment then it would work better, and that I should try using some bluetack to hold the aerial in place.
What a load of !##@

When I click the phone into the hch-37 it pushes hard against
the aerial connector. If the aerial connector cannot move backwards out of the hch-37 a little way then the phone wont click in correctly, or the aerial connector will break.

Has anyone got this working in a car? How do you secure the aerial connector so it stays in place but wont break?

I have the antenna cable with the HCH-37 working fine with my P910. The back of the holder has a groove & the antenna cable snaps FIRMLY into & I mean FIRMLY. It took me a bit to get it in there. The P910 antenna recepticle hole presses against the antenna cable end just right. I'm always at 5 bars in the car.
