They were my school days. Every year I used to wait for the Xmas holidays. Enjoyed those waiting. . . . Then travelled by my dad's office truck to my uncle's house, 200 kms away, on 24th December nights.. . . . . . . . . . . . . . I still remember and feel those PRAYER FILLED, colourfully decorated and CHILLING moments. . . . . . . . That always reminds the connection between childhood and festivals.

My family has always been very involved in charities, so each Xmas would be spent feeding the less-fortunate, distributing toys, etc. My fondest memories are of being carried out of the evening service on Xmas eve, once i'd fallen asleep, then driving with my mum and dad to visit the old folk's home, or orphanage, etc. These days i'm too big to be carried ;-) but i do keep on with the tradition which they began.
