so the problem is that my mother got a k500 some time ago but there are some things which i find rather strange. first of all the display looks really bad, second the right softkey is unusable while in standby mode (above it there should be "More" while on this fone there is just a smiling face) and finally the menu does not look like any other k500 i've seen - the icons look different and there even is one icon less...
i think the fone is vodafone branded so could this be the reason? if not what is the problem? and is there any way to fix this?

I indeed does look like a bad case of branding...and especially vodafone is notorious for its branding issues... You might have to flash it with generic
firmware to remove all those stuff... And i doubt whether the official folks at
would do that..

i thought so...well i was just curious. it doesn't look nice indeed but as my mother is not really bothered by this i think it shouldn't be such a problem for me...as i said curiosity
