W900 Firmware Overview
Each firmware revision listed below contains the fixes listed against that revision plus the fixes of all the firmwares below that entry.

fyi, i just got my W900i today and it had R5AF001. don't really know what the difference is with your firmware.
in any case, i did an OTA check and it said that it was the latest version, so i guess that's what you should be looking out for.

when did master reset the date is at june 2005
my other firmware was sep 2005

new version of seus is coming out soon
plus w900i voda deal is due to end at the end of feb so new w900i firmware should be availiable soon
i have heard there is r5ah001
but is currently not availiable though seus

Yep, did an update about 5 minutes ago, just because I was trying to get the SEUS updater working. Funnily enough, there's nothing new available yet
At least it recognises the phone though... I assume anyone with the C firmware is also still getting nothing new?
Give it a couple of weeks after that Vodafone exclusivity thing runs out and they might release something. They can't hold out on a phone this buggy forever (although I haven't had too many issues).
