Hello ppl!
I would like to know how to order a phone from India to Sweden.
Are there any shops that you know of that accept international customers?
I want to buy the SAMSUNG X700 which has been introduced recently there,
but seems to take forever to reach our borders.. I have tried to search
for shops in india, but most seem small time dealers..
So which way do you think is the best way to go?

Greetings from freezer Sweden.

most probably shopping for this item is on the prohibited list of direct trading in your country.. so, lacking any law.. its a matter of trust between you and any dealer whom you identify.. This message was posted from a WAP device

Thank you for the reply Maruthi, I don't know what you mean by prohibition. The phone is announced to come here, just that nobody knows when.. Do you know of any larger mobile dealers/chains in India that I could contact? thanks!

Unlike the Europe there are no major retail shops selling phones like CPW here in India and transactions online are still a rarity...why do you want it from India btw??

I was suspecting this.. I found 'samsung plaza' centers but alas
without any contact info whatsoever Whiz, I am a samsung addict
and was recently the only owner of a S500 in sweden (imported from germany).
It broke down half a year ago and at the same time I heard about
the new samsung models. I told myself I will refrain from buying anything
else until the X620/X700 comes along. But still nothing has happened here
(or rest of europe it seems). I'm not sure the phones have made it to
shops in India yet, but they were officialy released weeks ago priced Rs.14699.
Do you think you can help me in any way?

strange eh? I live in sony ericsson country but can't stand their phones.
When will they ever learn how to make good stuff?
