- i can put an enimated image xx.gif as a background on FC mode - the waterfalls sounds cool - , ( does anybody do that before on P900!!)
- new ringtones from SE ,

Question dramatic,....did it make any changes to your data or installed software? I downloaded and installed the update engine onto my PC but despite SE saying it wont harm data I wanted to hear it from others who have used the new service.
Thanks,Geek.

I did the update to my P900 as well. It worked just fine. But it clearly says that it _will_ wipe out all your data. And it does. So, backup your data first.

thank you sb

ACTUALLY sbellon you are wrong:
"Sony Ericsson Update Service;Download and install Update Service on your PC. When an improved software version for your product is available, you can download it whenever you want, and always keep your phone software up to date. No user data will be lost, and you will be guided smoothly through the update process."
Notice it says: " NO USER DATA WILL BE LOST"
i try to refrain from asking REALLY stupid questions and that is why i asked this one.
