I have recently downloaded many of these programs that supposedly run msn on your mobile for free using GPRS connections, such as mig33 or IM+

But neither work on my fone, and both say there is something wrogn with the connection

I'm on O2, and have a O2 WAP GPRS connection

Could someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Many thanks for any help given

Hmmm...for apps like im clients you need full web access.. A simple wap access won't do. Are you able to open html sites on your phone?

Yes I think so, although I have opera and that won't work either...that opens html does it not?

Is there anywhere I could get a full GPRS internet connection from O2 then?

Are you PAYG or contract?

If contract, yes (settings available from o2.co.uk). If PAYG ... no

Nope didnt work

I connected using:

Wap
O2 WAP GPRS
O2 MMs

There arent any other set ups apart from that without the use of a laptop for infra red internet etc.

Grrrr, Has any one else got these msn programs to work?

I went on msn mobile messenger and logged on there, but not sure if this was costing me or not, so logged off. Plus I couldnt see people who talked to me, so wasn't very good...

None of those are the full connection you need, that's why.

Call Customer Services then to direct you! IIRC, there's also a page of manual settings on the site. Or Google for them.
