> Battery Life = Signal Strength?

I was sitting in my house last night and noticed that i had one bar to no signal on my phone and my battery level was very low. I charged it and sitting in the exact same spot i had two to three signal bars? Does battery life affect the signal strength?

No probs mate, I'm no authority on the subject but as I said in my previous post I'm not aware of it and certainly haven't read anything that would suggest it made a difference.

if the battery is below about 10% then you will get a very low signal because the phone goes into its own little power saving mode, this means that the lower signal could occur due to the phone not having the full power to throw out high impulses.
that make sense? hope it does, think of it like this, you are an athlete, in a 100km race you run very fast and use loads of energy to move, but near the end your tired so run slower to save power, its the same principle i would guess.

I'd agree with @reactivation. Usually the battery level would not affect the signal strength very much. But when it dips below a certain level, i think it is not able to transmit/receive at the power that it usually does, hence you see a lower signal strength on your indicator.

Thats the first I've read of this and I have to say that i haven't noticed this myself, however, I have to agree with you guys that it does make some sense.
So basically what your saying is that as the phones battery drops to a very low level the usual amount of power required to comunicate with the the network isn't going to be available therefore a weaker signal can only be achieved ?
Edit: I've had a search around the net and haven't found anything to confirm this. Perhaps one of you guys have a link to a site detailing more information ?

This intelligent observation is possible only when you are at a weak signal spot. Otherwise, better nw conditions covers up any bat level till it dies.
