hi to all i've got a w800i which i'm updating with DaVinci the only thing is i'm not sure what files to download
my phone is

when i us SE Flasher/Unlocker v15.3

i get this extra info

what firmware do i use to debrand and update my phone to Firmware r1aa08

It depends on what languages you want.

Use the "Get Flash Files" button for this.
That way you can see the available languages and firmwares for each model and download the correct files.

Manual download is also possible
for example

if you go to ftp://64.92.166.206/sonyericsson_files/ and download
W800_R1AA008_FS_EU3.DVT together with
W800_R1AA008_MAIN_EU_EMEA.DVT
you get the EUROPE_3 firmware which contains EN DA NL FR DE languages.

sorry just two more things do i use
SE Flasher/Unlocker v15.3 to flash my phone
and what do i change in the CDA window

would i be able to use the SE update Service in the future if i do this

Yes you use that Flasher/Unlocker as it is the latest version.

With the CDA you have to choose a valid CDA for your phone. Try and match the CDA that Da Vinci has with the CDA already in your phone (use the firmware check for this). Failing that use a CDA as close to your current phone as possible.

Da Vinci doesn't have all the CDA's especially Vodafone ones.

Also once you change the CDA you might not be allowed to use the Sony Ericsson Official Upgrade Service.

correction @Ninja Dom

you choose cda based on the fs you use. for those not available in the window ,you type them in, so if you realy want vodafone you can have it lol. seus will rebrand it.

@the_geezer

first decide which fs version you wanna flash then find w800 cda list and type cda number that corresponds to it.
for example if you choose apac_1 fs you type cda for it CDA102430/101

if your phone w800 and you update with w800 firmware seus should work provided theres updates available for paricular cda.
i would stick with generic cda's for best chance of using seus in the future.
