The correct time and date info seems to get embedded in the photo file info (I don't mean the time stamp on the photo itself!) - this is great when I use the photos in my photo management software on the computer, as everything is in the right order with the correct times etc.

However, this info doesn't seem to get saved with movie clips? In other words, when you read the "Information" on the file, it doesn't give the correct date/time that it was taken at.

Any ideas? (If it helps, I save photos and movies to the memory stick - I've tried phone memory already)

Thanks for any info!

(I have a K750i)

it is a good camera phone and mp3 player,
but you cannot just expect from them to give you the perfect digital cam video phone!

Well thank you for that! But I'm only asking if this actually works for anyone or if anyone has found a way to make it work. It seems strange that they've done it correctly for photos but not for movies on the K750i.

Thanks!

the digital camera records EXIF information into the image. EXIF is an industry standard information system for digital images in JPG format. This EXIF info is not able to be recorded into 3gp videos, so you end up with a file date the same as the date which you copied the video to your computer.
