Hi,
I have troubles i selecting my own language , norwegian on W800i efter update to R1AA008.
I have contacted SE support and they suggested to perform master reset and if that would not do it, update again. This does not help me. The choices I got in language is "according to SIM" and english. Both gives english as phone language. I had norwegian before i updated.
I contacted SE support and they suggested to send it in to service.
Does anyone know a fix to get my own language?

You have to follow these steps to get your language back:
1-Back up all the data in the Phone Memory (You can copy all to the MS DUO and the contacts to the SIM or use MyPhoneExplorer)
2-Do a Hard Master Reset (Erase ALL the data from the Phone)
3-Using the SEUS II client, update to R1AA008
4-Do another Hard Master Reset
5-Restore the back up you did in the 1st step
And that's it.

But it did not work for me.
I had already done a a master reset without making acopy of contents in the phonebefore i read your posting and followed your advice . But i think that does not have anything to do with the lost language , because the language was lost when i began to try your method.
Du you or anyone else have suggestions?

And try using SEUS I for updating coz SEUS II will only report that you already have the latest firmware.

How do I get updated with that version now?

Did your try to put it in AUTOMATIC because on my phone I am in switzerland and in AUTOMATIC it puts it in German because my operator is a SWISSCOM!
