hi,
I have following problem, after a few days a black box appears where normally the white ring is in the menu of my w800, after that my whole theme slowly disapears: all the details go away, I can barely read my sms' and when trying to load a game it gives an error, when I try to send an sms, the phone just falls out.
I've tried an other sim-card but that does not help... anyone heard of this problem? I have found one other person, but not a solution yet, even the belgian SE helpdesk does not know the problem nor the sollution...

I've found the possible cause: looks like a memory leakage, everytime I start a game, it eats one KB of memory... nex time I will check the memory when the theme problem occurs again

I had a similar problem with W550i handsets. The first handset I had played up in the same manner every time I received or sent an SMS. This handset was replaced by the store and this second handset only crashed if I didn't restart it every 24 hours. However none of the java applications would work so the handset was replaced again. The third handset also needed to be turned off every 24 hours or you would find that the software had crashed. The problem on this handset got worse however. I played one game on it and then when I tried to play a second game the screen flashed on and off and all of the java applications on the phone were deleted. This all points to memory problems and I have heard that they are more common with branded phones. These problems may be fixed with firmware upgrades.
I ended up changing to a K750 after the store I got my phone from offered to cancel the contract.
