The button you press to take a picture and start recording a movie has suddenly stopped working for no reason, I have not dropped it or damaged it in any way.
Anyone know what could have caused this?
I have restarted phone to no avail. This is a pain as its new year’s tomorrow night and was planning on taking lots of nice snaps on my K750i.
What’s the best course of action to get this problem sorted?

hmmm, well as an emergency measure you could try a master reset, if it's just a bit if corrupt firmware this should fix it. However if it's a hardware failure then that won't help.
Another possibility is to remove the fascia and try and get a look at underneath the button - something may be fowling it or preventing it from contacting properly.
