Haha! Ever since my T65 I've had the creaks. Superglue would certainly shut it up, but I hate to think how you'd go if the cover ever had to be removed by a service centre!

I've got a bit of paper towel down the back of my battery pack, but it really doesn't make a huge difference sadly!

It's the same for me, I have tried to fix it with paper without any luck. When i tightened the screws on the back for the first time it help a bit but after a few days it was back to "normal" again. Onyone tried a new (not genuine) cover?

What are you complaining about?
It is not a default, it is a feature.
So that everyone knows from far away that you own a marvelous SE phone.

my k750 back doesn't creak when it's in it's cover, which is where I keep it most the time.

So the creaking thing doesn't worry me. The phone electronics is A1, so I would consider the case problem "aesthetic" (but if the phone is used without a case, it could become irritating I admit.)

I agree with you that generally it is a good phone, but at more then 400 bucks one would expect a hig end phone...and a squeaking back cover is antything but high end. but then again, as michka said, one can see that as a feature is one is an optimist

Mine fits great at the mo, and doesn't creak at all. I could live with that but I wouldn't be happy if with the slightest touch of the battery cover and it were to open.

I would complain an ask for a replacement mate.

hmmm, my batt cover has never come off - if anything it's a little hard to remove.

The W800 however doesn't have this squeeking problem - the design of the W800 battery cover and back cover is not conducive to squeeking the way the K750 is. (probably just an accident)
