Hi!
has anyone used successfully, a java based email application such as those found here?

I am experimenting with an unlocked 802se with a Vodafone contract sim, and want to send and receive emails in Japanese. It fails at the 'sending' point.........
I can send sms to my friend in Australia, in Japanese, and he can see the Japanese. He uses a Sharp 903. He can also paste Japanese into a reply sms and I can receive it OK.
But this seems only to work with 3G Vodafone handsets.
So I am wondering about the Java applications.
I can also see Esato and other sites using my 802se with my Voda contract sim.
Any ideas welcomed!
