Hi all,

Would just like to know how to quickly turn the phone to silent mode without having to go through the menus?

With the flip closed, pressing either of the volume buttons (the top buttons on the left side of the flip) simply alternates between lighting up the screen and displaying the current ring style profile. I can't seem to switch it to silent using those buttons (which apparently can be done)...

Can anybody help please?

From what i can remember you press and hold the down volume key until the profile name changes on the outside screen the press it again several times to select your chosen profile-i think! :-) This message was posted from a WAP device

use the volume button to scroll to the silent profile then press the small button on the left beneath the volume button (cant really remember what that one is for) which will select the profile.

I no longer have my V3 with me to make an actual TEST, but I agree with Lovewalrus, the volume KEYS (up and down) on the side SURE adjusts the profile type you want even when the FLIP is closed . . . I was surprised to KNOW also that you can take PICS (using the camera even when the flip is folded) . . .
