my V3i is arriving today and I sold my V3 yesterday so I'm not too worried about the prolific special colours of the V3

mind you, I would have preferred to get the Gold V3i but wasn't prepared to pay the price but I am surprised we have not seen a gold V3 yet

something makes me think Moto has made to many V3's and needs to clear them by flooding the market with other colours....

Love the way all the limited editions are limited to about 100,000,000 in fact they are not very limited at all. I must admit though that its not bad business, I know a few women that have gone for the pink one even though they are very basic now compared to the v3i and other phones on the market.

GRR!

This is sooooo annoying just when you thought they couldn't bring out anymore and this arrives on the scene.

I don't recall that you have ever had a V3 (have you?) so why is something which doesn't really affect you "sooooo annoying"?

surely there are more important things?

I just think it is lame to bring out the exact same phone in soooo many different colours.

If they did it with the v3i then fair enough it is a new model, just cant understand the point and why people are still buying them, thats all.

I was actually thinking of getting one but not now they have released all these different coloured ones.

wouldnt it be easier to release different covers instead of a new fone? i do agree with @miss, its like se would release k750 etc again and again... any official statement about this weird market strategy?

but I guess that is the point... people ARE still buying them. certainly if I was in business and had a product that was successful for this length of time and there was still demand then I would be doing exactly the same money in the bank!

Of course it is money in the bank and good on them for creating a product that appeals to people. But it does seem like they are milking it for all its worth now.

It just seems funny that people are still buying after it has been out so long?
