Hi.

I'm planning to go on vacation with some friends (8!) to the coast. The thing is that I don't have a digital camera; only my W800. My wondering is... is it worth to buy the MXE-60 flash add on for it, considering I'll be taking pictures (most of them probably) at nightclubs, night views, etc... What do you say? Is it really good?

I already read every review, question, thread found here and in other forums; still I'm not sure as what to do.

I can get it here for 66 USD... what do you say?

Thanks in advance.

Do you have one? Have you tested it in nightclubs and such? I've seen the pictures posted but I'm needing something more "real"

Its as good as a standard flash you get on the smaller compact cameras so dont expect it to light up a large room.
By the way you can get them new on ebay for under $20, mine only cost me £10 from hk and it was 100% genuine.

Yes, but I don't have a credit card at hand...

Damn capitalism!

EDIT: I know it's a small flash but, what I meant is, does the phone really benefitiates from the light coming for the flash? I have to asume that it's not the same as bright daylight outside, but normal digicams get quite perfect pictures at night, using a flash; but the phone will still be getting the "black noise" (Kingdom Hospital? ) in the pictures... right?

Even with the flash theres still a bit of noise, you can see it on dark back ground colours.Other than that slight problem its recommended but at $66 i personally wouldnt pay that much for it, its worth closer to $20 not $66 so i would beg or borrow someone elses card and get one on ebay and save a whopping $46.

Deffinately get yourself one. Has to be a big improvement over the phones LED.

I've read that they're actually pretty good.
