my phone will switch on only if I would keep
on pressing the switch but once i'll stop
pressing the screen will fade and wouln't stay on
but i think it is on, only there's no display...
i tried by charging the battery and switching my
phone on and off. I encounterd no problem with it
but once i would stop the charging and tried to test by
switching on it wouldn't start anymore unless i would
keep on pressing the switch.
how is this so? what's the cause for all this?
i had my baby examine now in the service center
to rectify my problem
i hope you can give me a piece of your thought
about this matter who had the same problem like mine
or whatever it is that concerns about this matter
thanks and best regards

just talked to the service center after almost a month
they weren't able to fix my phone i don't know how is this so
i still have to check for myself when it will arrive from the
main service center because they sent it there after the
technician in one of their branch wasn't able to rectify
my problem in my place
i'm so desperate i'm thinking of even switching to Nokia
after i heard the news
yes my phone isn't under warranty period anymore but
at least they could fix it right?
i'm still thinking what was the reason for it.
i had a software update from SEUS or was it the SMan or
Bootman that cause the problem.
I don't usually even use much the power switch only
when i have to
so now what should i do with my phone?
have a funeral for it i guess...

I had that same problem with my 2nd p910i, got it replaced under warranty by orange, never had any trouble with the new one even tho i restored my backup onto it so i guess its a hardware fault. If your phone is still under warranty try contacting where you bought it for a replacement.

bad idea i shouldn't have let my SEP910 fix by
the service center until it was really dead/major
problem comes up it was doing okay only
all i wanted to do is fix the small problem/minor repair
with the switch now it's completely dead when i got it
i don't know what i'll do with this dead phone
maybe sell it piece by piece...
any ideas? or it is beyond repair now
i'm still hopeful that i can find someone who'll revive
the life back of my p910
