Hi everyone. I've been lurking quite a while and have just joined the forum. I have a question for you guys, on the 'Display' settings of the P900, in the 3rd tab along there is a setting where you can set the illumination of the phone to On, Off, or Auto. Below it there is the same option for Car. I assume this is so that you can set the illuminated display not to fade out whilst it is sat in a car kit cradle?
I have my P900 sat in an HCH-37 holder on my van's dashboard which I connect to a cig lighter charger. I don't have it connected to a Sony Ericsson handsfree kit at all (I use a Parrot CK3100 Bluetooth). My question is, I want to know if I can bridge out some of the pins on the bottom of the HCH-37 to 'trick' the phone into thinking it is connected to a wired handsfree therefore keepinig its lights on. This would be a great help for when I'm listening to MP3s from my phone etc...
Any info would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
Al.

Cant be done, however there is away to set the phone so the light stays on when its connected to a charger, as my hch37 almost always remains connected up to the in car charger i use that and the light stays on at the "dimmed" level whenever im in the car.

SORRY ALBundy, the file download is a bit cocked, but i have got printer schematics from this site before. Maybe go back from time to time.....I see there is a "report dead link" button.
