I used to have a k700i. It has the feature wherein the picture of a contact appears whenever i receive an SMS.

With my k750i now, this doesn't happen anymore.
Does that mean they took out that feature?
Or is there an upgrade i need to do?

Thanks!

i think its still existing... just select your contact in your phone book, then Edit go to the info section select picture then viola!

or take a sample pic of your friend using your camera and using the picture size of 78 x 78.

after taking the pic... you can locate it in yer phone.
Select the image, choose more, select Use as, then tick on Contact Picture.

ciao! explore your phone! its a very fascinating gadget!

Hey.
Thanks for that.

I already tried that. It still doesn't come out.
Its strange coz i have a friend who's experiencing the same prob.

I've been trying stuff already. Replaced the pic, re entered the contact details, deleted contacts, etc.
Still won't come out

Hey rockygali. Thanks for the input.

I'm using the phone memory for the contacts, and i've tried using the phone memory for the contact's picture, i tried using the memory stick also

nothing changed.

weird though, coz when its a call, the picture of the contact comes out... :-|

try the following:
go to menu/settings/general/new events. you have two options there - "activity menu" and "pop-up". If you want to have the picture displayed when you receive an sms, you should select "pop-up". Unless I am mistaken

Enjoy your phone, it's great!
