okay... i have something that is meant to be hooked into the fuse block (pos) and one grounded (neg). But, i want to make it so i can take it in and out... can i use an old car charger? the pos and the neg going where i posted in this pic?

The connector side is ok. But i dont know about the other wire side. U will just have to check it by yourself, if u have one of those digital volt/amper metres. U just need to test it to see which wire is connected to neg or pos.
