I have a w800i running R1N035 and everytime i turn Blurtooth OFF the phone freezes for about 1 min, and does not turn bluetooth off. Sometimes is freezes and i have to take the battery out....
Firmware or phone bug??
I have tried updating firmware but R1N035 is the latest on orange. Have not done a full master reset but i dont think that will help.
I have phone insurance so should I get a replacement or will the problem be the same?

I too had this problem with two W800i's, on orange, and now have a third which is running the same software as yours and my previous two, and it is fine. I heard there was an issue with some phones to do with the bluetooth chip being faulty, on certain batches of phones, so may be this is the problem.
