A British prison officer has admitted trying to smuggle drugs and mobile phones to an inmate inside two bags of crisps, on Christmas Eve but was caught in a routine search.
Bentley, a prison officer for three years, was given the search when a senior officer noticed the unusually heavy weight of the bags.
Two large blocks of cannabis resin and a mobile phone were found in one of the bags of Kettle Chips, while the second contained another block, some pills and three mobile phones.
Susan Tickle, prosecuting, said: "Mr Bentley initially told police he had taken the packages in at the request of a prisoner on his wing to whom he owed £300 in gambling debts. "He said he thought they contained mobile phones and slimming pills. He said the packages were already sealed when he collected them."

well think about it from the officers point of view (if hes telling the truth) hes most likely going to get fired as hes just tried smuggeling in drugs and mobiles, but I suppose he maybe crooked as he had a gambeling debt with a prisioner lol

That's NOTHING compared to the JAILS we have here

On an ABRUPT routine cell check, some officials FOUND:
1. Caliber .38
2. .45 pistol
3. Jungle Bolo (Big knife)
4. yes, mobile fones too
5. marijuana
6. shabu (poor man's cocaine)
To TOP it all, these itemes were in the MAXIMUM prisoner's cell
