Hi,
I eventually got the update service to work after following advice on this forum. Everything works ok, but it did an update and put the same version back on the phone which I already had!
So I was left with re-installing all apps etc.
Does the service normally do this ? or is it because I have not used the new update service before.
I look forward to your comments.

unfortunatlly it does..... the older update services informed you that "your device is already up to date, do you still want to continue? ) but now... nothing...

I keep asking this question...more out of curiosity because i have decided that my phone is in perfect working order and wont update BUT did anyone notice any beneficial change after the update?

After eventually reinstalling both the suite and update service for the w800, i eventually ran the update service, all was going great untill all the phones were flashing on the screen.
All i see are the phones and two buttons on the right but the buttons have nothing in them.
After experamenting, the top button is the one to select the phone u have. the next screen has the same problem. I figured out the right button is the cancel button but how do i press the left button.
There is a box wich should have text in it but it does'nt. anyone else have this problem?
Stupid update service, wish i had not sold my p910
