I got my w800 back in november, its on 02. after about 4 weeks the camera completly stopped working, i upgraded to r1n0035 the camera started working but with really bad quality and lines across the screen. I have just updated the phone again to R1A008 the camera is 4.5 and is still really bad quality. does anyone know of a way of fixing this or have similar problems?? had my phone and never really been able to use it to its potential, just wish id have got a nokia again!

yeh i know the sony camera is wicked, best ive seen so far but its stopped working due to a software problem, never had any software problems with nokia. from reading this message board im quite shocked as to how many problems people are having with their sony ericssions.

mind you... its a parrt of a developing technology..

its a trial and error thing.. the more errors the better development...

well i would strongly suggest that you bring your phone to a certified SE shop, theyll help you with it or if its still under warranty theyll replace it.

My photos seem to have lots more noise since I upgraded to this firmware.

Anyone else noticed that?

caddy, the only people who post on here are the ones that are some what more advanced users than 95% of the userbase out there and they have high demands. These are the people who will notice a glitch and bring it up right away on this forum.

Yes im totaly agre the camera is no blury and unsharp the camera driver is the same 4.5 but SE has changed the metering metod.
"Center Weighted Average metering used instead of standard Average metering to improve photos in lower level lighting conditions"
I cant get this supersharp fotos that the k750 was able to before.
