Using the k750 supplied cable?
(If i'm nor experianced with this)
What are the draw backs? If something goes wrong, can a master reboot?

I converted two K750 to W800 R1AA008 yesterday. Works perfectly...

Very easy... just get a credit, download the client, download the correct firmware and flash...

Does the problem still exist tho that you cant update through SEUS once you have flashed to the W800 firmware? And that you have to continue using DaVinchi to update thereafter?

that's a sure thing because SEUS will read your IMEI to see what phone you're using, so even you've flashed to w800i, SEUS will thought your phone is k750i so it will update it to latest k750i firmware, and you're back to k750i again

Oh well dont see much point in it then. Just for the sake of flight mode (have an ipod) and a better media player GUI. Would rather just be able to update using SEUS without having to keep waiting on DV to update.

And besides, flashing a K750i to a W800i looses functionality of the Activity menu - the best thing about the K750i!
