Hi folks, I've got a P900 with rather an odd problem. The reception is very poor. I only get 1 or 2 bars at most indoors. I usually have 'No Network' or 'Emergency Calls Only' this is on either my Vodafone or O2 sims. The Nokia 6310i, Samsung D500, SE K750i, Motorola V3 Razr and Samsung X600 all get great reception here so it's not as if I live in a lead lined house or anything!
The reception is great when sat in my HCH-37 cradle in the van as it has an external antenna that plugs into the back of the phone. It is for this reason that I think there may be a fault with the internal aerial? Is it common? I've stripped the phone and it is making contact with the PCB just fine. Any ideas?

I'm having the same issue. I have narrowed it down to a faulty antenna, currently trying to find somewhere that sells them, but having no luck !!
Same happened to a friend of mine, so must be a fairly common fault.

Hi, thanks for the link. I've looked at my antenna and it is just a thin sheet of copper. How can this go faulty? It looks unbroken, just a bit of the blue paint flaked off it.

i had loads of flakey paint off mine, i had the same problem when i replaced the cover on mine, and opened it up and sawa corner of it was bent, i'd sugest making sure the ariel is making proper contact with the phone!

My aerial seems to have stopped working since my kitten kicked my phone off my bedside cabinet. Little $#!t !!
If the new aerial doesn't work then I'll sell it for bits (the phone not the kitten - although it is tempting... LOL)!

Same here, got an email and a refund for the price of the aerial. Bloody hell!
I've decided to get another phone, or perhaps another P900 with a busted screen so I can swap bits over.
Anyone selling a P910 for a reasonable price? Or a P900 with a cracked screen?!
