hi im considering buying a new cell after i have sold my s700i for a grand 300 us $. gr8 deal i know . but know what will be better????
a w800i or a samsung d600. plz tell me what u know about both, i need ur advice, i know ur good at helping people im used to it.

I bought a Samsung D600 for my mom and I had used it for a week before giving it to her.
What's good with D600 over W800:
+ IMO, it takes slightly less noisy pictures than W800 (W800 outperforms D600 on closeup/macro shots however)
+ D600 has better video recording, the max is 352x288 (I forgot the exact dimensions, but it's higher than 320x240)
+ TV out function
+ can read and display various document types like Word, Excel, pdf (?)
+ QVGA screen
But for everything else, I like W800 better.
I'm glad I have my W800.

It's bloody pointless asking to compare an SE phone with a non-SE phone in an SE forum!!! It's just asking for trouble....
But then it all seems quiet so far? But you can bet your botttom dollar the w800 will get the most votes.

D600 because of:
- large screen (320x240)
- better video
- dual external speaker (stereo sound)
- Video out
W800 because of:
- battery charge lasts longer (maybe because of smaller screen)
- better sound quality both external and through earphones
- better camera output quality (stills)
- supports Bluetooth 2.0 (faster)
Ultimately it's really up to you, which features do you like most?
